Betrayed

Hatred and anger have given way to despair, and the pain itself has become a constant torment. His empty promises and growing distance have crushed her heart and fed her tears for too long. Even this desolate place cannot match the emptiness engulfing her.

The boiling waters spew foam into the air around her, mirroring the seething emotions battling inside her.

Her wrist meets cold steel, the release of the sharp blade, the strange lack of sensation and pain… yet somehow, liberation. The echoed voices grow silent, angry words fading, pain ebbing away.


Ive never done this to myself, but I know people who have. I have used some personal experience to put the emotions into this ~ its been a very hard week
